This category combines the Pollywog and Seahorse classes, designed to help children build confidence and foundational swimming skills. The Pollywog class focuses on water adjustment, basic floating, and beginning swim strokes. Following that, the Seahorse class introduces more advanced skills such as floating on the back, breath control, and submersion. Both classes are essential for progressing to more advanced swimming levels, ensuring your child becomes comfortable and proficient in the water.
Assistant sits near the pool (if necessary, depending on the class’s ratio). Parents are not allowed in the pool deck. In Clownfish, the instructor works with one child at a time, teaching them how to float on their back, go underwater holding their breath, crawling along the wall with their hands, as well as other important survival skills.
As the students progress through the Angelfish class, they will be able to float on their back, submerge underwater then come up to breathe, and kick to the wall so they can grab it. They will then be ready to move up to the next level. (The same class structure as the Clownfish with the difference being there is no assistance.)
In the Goldfish class (ages 3 to 10 years), children build on their ability to float on their back independently and learn the basics of the Freestyle stroke, preparing them for more advanced swimming. Max. 4 students
In the Dolphin class (ages 4 to 12 years), they refine their Freestyle technique and are introduced to Backstroke and Breaststroke. By the end of this level, they’ll have a strong foundation in all three strokes, ready to advance to the final level, Stingray. Max. 6 students
The instructor will focus on the details such as: breathing techniques, corrections and drills for better coordination in all swimming styles, including the final stroke, Butterfly! This is a fast-paced class building your child’s endurance, stamina, and techniques. Upon the completion of the Stingray level, our students will be ready to join a Swim Team. Max. 6-8 students.
Our adult classes, limited to three students, are designed to cater to the specific needs of each participant. We support individuals in overcoming personal fears while ensuring they develop essential water safety and survival skills. Once these foundational skills are established, we concentrate on enhancing their swimming abilities.
Private lessons are tailored to meet each student’s unique needs. Whether for individuals with special needs, disabilities, or those who require a more structured environment with fewer distractions, private classes are the ideal option. For more information on private lessons, please give us a call.
An annual registration fee is required for all students who are enrolling into a new class. The registration fee is charged annually.
